20 Prospect Radio is On the Air

I promise not to pull any April 1st Joke’s today. Just remember to be careful about what you believe on the Interwebz today folks.

It rained here on the front porch, and what’s left of our muddy glaciers are slowly melting into oblivion. There’s a freshness in the air that might be the scent of life returning to the flora and fauna of Minnesota, or it might just be the corpses of squished earthworms on the sidewalks. It does have a certain “bait shop” smell to it. It’s one of those days that makes me yearn to spend the evening drinking tepid cans of Old Milwaukee with dear friends at the end of a dirt road . Ah… the memories of youth.

So crack open the beverage of your choice, close your eyes, and pretend we’re standing around a campfire in the countryside, welcoming Spring in the best way possible, with illicit liquor, twangy tunes, and clandestine kisses.

  1. Ooph, alittlebitrocknroll has a tough time with some country. But bring on the banjo! Johnny Cash and Hank can do no wrong, in my book. Buck Owens, on the other hand, his outfits offend.

    • Saw them at a bar here in Mpls about 12+ years ago. Was one of the most fun shows I’ve ever attended. They are a great live act.
